Networking

AARC membership benefits include networking opportunities with colleagues and peers for career and personal enrichment.

Specialty Sections

Membership in AARC Specialty Sections allows you to network with your peers who specialize in areas of diagnostics, sleep, management, education, adult acute care, neonatal/pediatric care, transport, or ambulatory and post-acute care. Nominal membership fee applies.

AARConnect

AARConnect is our members-only professional networking tool that allows you to connect with people from across the country and around the world. Ask questions and get input on our Help Line. Talk about common interests on the discussion lists of a Specialty Section if you are a member of one of these groups. Or join open communities, which are a complimentary benefit available to all AARC members.

Chartered Affiliates

By joining AARC, you also receive membership in your state society for respiratory care. Additionally there is an International Council for Respiratory Care that advances the profession in countries across the globe.

Respiratory Care Week

Each year, the Association sponsors Respiratory Care Week—the last full week in October—to recognize the work of respiratory care practitioners and increase community awareness of respiratory issues.

Professional Promotion

From time to time, special opportunities arise to promote the profession at nontraditional or even high-profile events, such as a National Science Fair or Health Occupation Students of America meetings. We send representatives to these meetings to educate the public about respiratory therapy.

Start taking advantage of all the benefits and services that come with AARC membership.
