According to Carlin, the new guidelines explain how to do something rather than simply recommending what to do, like other existing guidelines. Some of the changes also include, more emphasis on self-management, motivational interviewing processes, downloadable standardized action plans, and more.

Big Ideas Theater 2019 was filmed at the AARC Congress 2019 in New Orleans, LA. Congress speakers and lecturers shared their expertise and insights during these brief interviews.
