The first World Bronchiectasis Day will be held on July 1, 2022, and it will be observed each year thereafter on the first of July. Each year, organizers from around the world will coordinate activities to spread awareness in hopes of identifying the many undiagnosed patients living with bronchiectasis.

World Bronchiectasis Day is being organized by an international planning committee co-chaired by Dr. Tim Aksamit, Medical Director of Bronchiectasis and NTM 360 at the COPD Foundation, and Professor James Chalmers, EMBARC Chair and British Lung Foundation Chair of Respiratory Research, University of Dundee.

The AARC is a proud partner of the very first World Bronchiectasis Day, along with 17 other organizations. Will you join us in spreading the word about this disease? Find available resources on the Bronchiectasis and NTM 360 website.
