Daniel D. Rowley, MSc, RRT, RRT-ACCS, RRT-NPS, RPFT, FAARC, with the University of Virginia Medical Center visits the Big Ideas Theater stage to discuss electrical impedance tomography. Daniel explains that this is an emerging clinical diagnostic tool, that is used to look inside the lungs without the use of radiation or invasive procedures.
Daniel goes into more depth, explaining the science behind this method and how it works. This method has not been approved by the FDA yet, but more and more countries have begun using it.
