LaVerne Davis joined the AARC team back in April, as the new Chief Financial Officer. She comes to the AARC with experience in both non-profit and for-profit organizations. She most recently worked with the American Fire Sprinkler Association as the Vice President of Finance for seven years. In that role, she ran the accounting and finance departments and reported the organizations financial performance to the Board of Directors. Before that, she served as the CFO for Amazon Outreach (nonprofit) and previously worked with The Coca-Cola Company at the World Headquarters in Atlanta, GA.

“The opportunity to support the excellency of respiratory care excites me,” said Davis. “Respiratory therapists are a vital part of saving lives and improving the quality of life for millions of people.”

Davis gained her Masters Degree from the University of North Texas and has over 20 years of experience. Her experience is marked by successfully delivering timely and accurate reporting of strong revenues, generating growth, significant cost savings, operational excellence, and building value. Davis has already made a significant impact during her short time at the AARC, including growing the AARC finance department.

In her free time, Davis enjoys spending time with family, volunteering, bird watching, going on walks, and gardening.

“I am delighted to have LaVerne as our new CFO,” said AARC Executive Director Dan Garrett. “She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience which will greatly contribute to AARCs ongoing success.”
