Elizabeth Summitt, RRT, is a respiratory therapist at Riley Hospital in Indianapolis, IN and shared her experience as a mother of a patient in a recent WTHR feature story. Summitt’s son was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes six years ago. According to Summitt, this journey has changed her as a person and a clinician.
