As a member of the Clinical Advisory Committee for the Respiratory Compromise Institute (RCI), the AARC is working with like-minded groups and organizations to reduce the risk of respiratory compromise in settings ranging from the hospital to the home.
In order to further that cause, the RCI is now seeking proposals for a structured literature review or meta-analysis of various clinical conditions that pose a moderate to high risk for the development of respiratory failure leading to critical illness or death.
AARC encourages its members with a background in research to submit proposals for this RCI research opportunity, as it is a vital study in the patient safety arena. You can request an application here.
