Dear AARC members,
During this unprecedented time we wanted to let you know that we are doing everything we can to avoid any disruption of the level of service you have come to expect from the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC).
With the on-going uncertainty of what feels like hourly updates on the Coronavirus – stress levels are high. In an effort to provide you with seamless services and benefits you have come to expect, the health and wellness of our team is not something that we can take lightly.
Over the past week, the AARC has worked rapidly to give our entire team remote access to the same technology that is available at our office desktops. We have also modified our telecommunications network so that the staff can receive your calls offsite in a similar fashion to our normal operations.
We believe these measures will ensure uninterrupted service and attention to your membership needs. While we have attempted to ensure that there are no delays or glitches in your ability to connect with our staff, we are sure that there may be some missteps along the way.
We value your commitment to your patients and the profession, and we are working hard to support you when you need us the most. AARC will initiate remote operations effective Monday, March 23. AARC staff will work remotely from 8:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m., Central Time to maintain business operations and services. For guaranteed assistance, please send an email inquiry to info@aarc.org.
Sincerely,
Thomas J. Kallstrom, MBA, RRT, FAARC
AARC Executive Director/Chief Executive Officer
