Lifelong learning remains paramount for respiratory therapists. While maintaining your license and credentials necessitates this learning, so too does the need for continual improvement and growth in your career. AARC University, a premier benefit for AARC Members, is the AARC’s online learning portal. You can register for a course, learn from the course content, pass the post-course examination, and obtain your CRCE certificate all in one place.

“The AARC understands how challenging it can be to find high-quality continuing respiratory care education, which is why we developed our AARC University platform,” said Shawna Strickland, PhD, CAE, RRT, FAARC, AARC associate executive director of member services. “Content experts develop the education you find in the AARC University and we ensure courses earn approved CRCE, applicable for both your state license and credential renewals.”

Rich Course Content

Filled with dozens of courses, AARC University offers relevant content that keeps you on top of industry trends as well as refining your personal skills.

At the main AARC University page, you’ll find courses organized by categories, such as Adult Acute Care, Ethics, and Leadership.

We even have a category just for Students as well as a category for anyone looking for Credential Test Prep.

You can also review a complete listing of all AARC University courses. All courses list a member discounted price and the non-member price.

And finally, scheduled throughout each year, we have Live Webcasts and JournalCasts, tackling on-trend topics for RTs.

Did somebody say free? For AARC Members, many courses are available for free. These include on-demand courses and live courses.

Earn CRCE

AARC University courses include the opportunity to earn CRCE hours. The only exception to this is the student-designed courses since they do not apply toward maintaining your license and credentials.
