Patricia Matye serves as a great example of what it takes to care for young children in this article on Cleveland.com about two toddlers who suffer from asthma. “Who is that on your shirt,” she is quoted as asking a four-year-old who’s reluctant to let the RT examine her. “Is that Minnie? Do you have Minnie shoes? Your shoes have polka-dots and match your shirt. You are so cool.” The tactic worked like a charm!

Tina Siddon and Kelly Hayes talk about their camp for kids with asthma in an article on surfky.com out of Kentucky. The free camp has been serving the community for 19 years now.
