AARC is excited to announce the newest member of our team. Karen Moore joins us as the new Director of Creative Services and Marketing Operations.
Having recently come from the American Heart Association and RQI Partners, Moore brings a passion for the medical profession and for the mission of bringing health and wellness education to providers and to patients.
“I am excited to join this association and this talented, passionate, and authentic team. I hope to bring a creative spirit to align with our team’s vision and to inspire our members. I strive to support health providers’ ability to consistently bring the best solutions for the health of their patients.”
Prior to the AHA, Moore’s experience includes her role as Production Manager for a boutique design studio, and as the owner of BalanceArt for over 30 years, providing solutions for design and advertising agencies, non-profits, digital communication companies, and interior designers.
“Karen brings a tremendous skill set to the AARC,” said Ellen Worsham, VP of Marketing and Communications. “She mixes a mastery of visual communication and creativity with operational and productivity skills. Even more – she approaches it all with mindfulness and a positivity that is infectious.”
Karen has specialized training in specific skills such as digital animation, and advanced techniques in the tools of her trade, including Adobe creative software. She finds inspiration in the world around her, “I hope always to bring a timeless, fresh perspective to my designs. It is important to me to address the sensory responses of our audience – and to tell a story whenever possible.”
Karen is married to the love of her life and has a wonderful and creative daughter. She is also the proud caretaker of two cats, Joonie and Princess Kitty.
