To help further leadership and professional development among AARC members, Drager developed a scholarship for the AARC Leadership Institute. For the first 2023 scholarship, we are happy to announce that four AARC members received the scholarship: Charlene Blumenthal, Angel Melendez, Sasha Russ, and Melody Sidor. Congratulations to these recipients!

The Leadership Institute and Advanced Leadership Institute courses provides real-world education for respiratory therapists looking to expand their knowledge beyond the clinical realm. The course, a foundation for career growth, focuses on education, management, and research. The scholarship, made possible through an unrestricted grant by Drager, was available for the education or research track.

The AARC would like to thank all the applicants and Drager for their support of this scholarship. Applications for the second 2023 scholarship are now open for the Advanced Leadership Institute! Apply today or before the deadline of June 1, 2023.
