To help further leadership and professional development among AARC members, Drager developed a scholarship for the AARC Leadership Institute. For 2022, we are happy to announce that three AARC members received the scholarship: Morgan Wagner, Kira Berquist, and Anna Wandycz. Congratulations to these recipients!

The Leadership Institute course provides real-world education for respiratory therapists looking to expand their knowledge beyond the clinical realm. The course, a foundation for career growth, has three modules that focus on education, management, and research. The scholarship, made possible through an unrestricted grant by Drager, was available for the education or research track.

“Partners like Drager help the AARC build and strengthen the respiratory therapy profession, and we appreciate their continued support and dedication,” said AARC Executive Director Dan Garret, CAE. “We thank Drager for taking the time to help further the career development of these respiratory therapists and we look forward to future endeavors.”

The AARC would like to thank all the applicants and Drager for their support of this scholarship. Applications for 2023 scholarships will open in January.
