Today, the AARC is proud to announce the introduction of a bipartisan resolution by Representative Jamie Raskin (D/MD) to recognize the significant contributions respiratory therapists have made during the COVID-19 pandemic. A copy of the press release is available here.

“Respiratory therapists have endured great sacrifices during the public health emergency, put their own health at risk, and worked tireless hours saving the lives of vulnerable individuals diagnosed with COVID-19”, said Anne Marie Hummel, Sr. Vice President of Government Affairs. “We are extremely appreciative of Rep. Raskin to bring the recognition respiratory therapists so richly deserve to coincide with our celebration of National Respiratory Care Week” she added.
