In the first program of the 2021 Current Topics in Respiratory Care video series lecturer Andrew Miller, MSc, RRT, RRT-ACCS, RRT-NPS, will present ‘Management of Pediatric Status Asthmaticus.’
This program will discuss the pathophysiology of status asthmaticus, pharmacologic agents, respiratory support options, and mechanical ventilation strategies. The evidence for each intervention will be covered. The use of asthma pathways and the importance of patient education will also be covered.
