The American Respiratory Care Foundation (ARCF) has a grant that supports students attending the AARC International Congress in New Orleans, LA. on Nov. 9-12.

A Kansas City area respiratory therapist has created a fund to give an award of $500 to cover registration and travel expenses again this year.

To Qualify

  • The student must be currently enrolled in a Kansas or Missouri respiratory therapy program and send a letter explaining what they expect to gain from attending the International Congress.
  • They will need to have a letter of support from their program director.
  • They will also need to be a student member of the AARC for at least six months.

Application Process

Applicants will need to have their short essay and letter of support emailed to Crystal Leighton at crystal.leighton@aarc.org no later than noon on Oct. 15. The recipient will be contacted on Oct. 20.

If you are a program director in Kansas or Missouri, we ask that you please share this with your respiratory therapy students.

Email newsroom@aarc.org with questions or comments, we’d love to hear from you.
