The AARC is pleased to announce publication in the journal CHEST® of findings by a Technical Expert Panel of clinicians represented by CHEST/American College of Chest Physicians, the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, the American Association for Respiratory Care, and the American Thoracic Society regarding optimal noninvasive ventilation.

Plans are to use the peer-reviewed documents to make recommendations to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to revise outdated policies on noninvasive ventilation that do not account for the strides and advancements in technologies over the past couple of decades to ensure the right patient gets the right device for the right reason at the right time.

Additional information is provided in the official press release.

Email newsroom@aarc.org with questions or comments, we’d love to hear from you.
