Ambulatory and Post-Acute Care Section

We are a diverse and passionate group of respiratory therapists, dedicated to promoting and facilitating respiratory wellness throughout the continuum of care for people with chronic and urgent health conditions that affect breathing; as well as, enhancing awareness of these conditions and their impacts.

Our section provides a venue for collaboration, allowing us to be synergistic in our achievements, learn from one another, and advance the practice of respiratory care together. In addition, section members share resources to avoid duplication of efforts and to enhance each other’s work.

Join our section to access the support you need to provide your patients and their caregivers optimal support throughout their course, including preventative care, continuing care, and end-of-life.

• Our AARConnect community links you to fellow section members. It gives you the chance to communicate directly with your peers: ask questions, share resources, & learn more!
• Our bimonthly Ambulatory and Post-Acute Care newsletter keeps you informed about the latest news and research in pulmonary rehab program, patient education, disease management, reimbursement, regulations, and more!
• In 2018, the AARC Home Care, Long Term Care, and Continuing Care/Rehabilitation sections were merged into the Ambulatory and Post-Acute Care Section. Members of the Ambulatory and Post-Acute Care Section have access to archived materials from these sections, including newsletters and bulletins.
