Indiana State Representative Ron Bacon, CRT, is pushing a bill that would that would require coaches (of interscholastic or intramural sports) to complete an education course on heat-related medical issues that may arise from an athlete’s training. Read the story.

Mark Hiller, BA, RRT-NPS, recently shared a story with The Traverse City Record-Eagle about his encounter with a man who collapsed during a music rehearsal. Hiller was one of three bystanders who jumped in to save the 77-year-old man. Read the story.
