The American Respiratory Care Foundation (ARCF) has a grant that supports students attending the AARC International Congress in New Orleans, LA. on Nov. 9-12.

A Kansas City area respiratory therapist has created a fund to give an award of $500 to cover registration and travel expenses again this year.

To Qualify

  • The student must be currently enrolled in a Kansas or Missouri respiratory therapy program and send a letter explaining what they expect to gain from attending the International Congress.
  • They will need to have a letter of support from their program director.
  • They will also need to be a student member of the AARC for at least six months.

Application Process

Applicants will need to have their short essay and letter of support emailed to Crystal Leighton at no later than noon on Oct. 15. The recipient will be contacted on Oct. 20.

If you are a program director in Kansas or Missouri, we ask that you please share this with your respiratory therapy students.

Email with questions or comments, we’d love to hear from you.
