The AARC was introduced to Billy in 2016 by the COPD Foundation as their Ambassador for Harmonicas for Health. Billy attended the 2016 AARC Congress in San Antonio Texas where he participated in the Patient Advocacy Summit, the ARCF Fundraiser, Big Ideas Theater, played an acoustic version of the National Anthem in the Opening Ceremony, and raffled off a “Nashville Experience” to one lucky AARC Congress attendee. Billy is a long-time patient and child advocate that uses his music talent and his Nashville connections to support charitable causes.
Billy created a song written to the AARC family at the beginning of the pandemic. This song serves as a piece of encouragement to the RTs who have fought tirelessly during COVID-19.
